Credit Card Safety: This site is hosted on a secured
server, but there aren't any guarantees that it can't be breached.
Still, it is safer than handing your credit card to a store clerk or
waitperson that you don't know. There is something you can do to make
it incredibly safe. Virtual Credit Cards! Check with the bank that
issues your card and see if they have it available. My Citibank
has such a program. Citibank calls there's
Virtual Account Numbers. Essentially, they will generate a "one time" use
number tied to one of your credit cards. Once you purchase on our site
or any other, the number is no longer good. That is hard to beat and
it is easy to use.
Documentation: Print out your receipt. If you don't have a
printer handy, you can also email a copy to yourself. Even though
we'll email you one and most other sites do, stuff happens. The
Internet has cracks in it like anywhere else and occasionally things
get lost.
Pay by Credit Card: Unless you really know your retailer,
always pay by credit card. You have some protection that you wouldn't
have otherwise. Never pay by check, cash or money orders unless you
know them to be trust worthy (like us:)). Online payment services like
PayPal might be another good alternative to credit cards, investigate
first.

Passwords: Don't use the same one over and over again.
Alpha/Numeric passwords are good and randomly created ones are even
better. I've found a great way to generate them and keep track of
them. At the same time this program also automates the login process
and sign up sheets we run across. It can also be password protected to
prevent anyone that has access to your computer from gaining access.
